  1. G'day Roy,

You won't remember us, but we travelled to Britain for Crufts in 2008 and tried to contact you while there but were sadly unsuccessful. A mutual friend, Ann Moy, reminded us today that you were writing a book on Avebury's Neolithic treasures. We did visit wonderful Avebury in 2008 and have YOU to thank for alerting us to its existence. We wanted to visit sites of this magnificence and intrigue as we have nothing like them here in Australia.

We have been 'revisiting' Avebury on the net and came across your 'Lady in Waiting' website. What a simply enticing and mystical filled theory you have presented in your book. It is soooooo brilliant and reflective of the sense that surrounds Avebury and its treasures envelopes one not only while there but at the mention of henges and barrows.

We can't wait to be able to revisit the magical experience of Avebury and follow the bigger more plausible 'Lady' sites your book, with all your research and thoughts bring forth to our minds. Thank you once again for enticing us back to Britain and all its beauty and 'touchable' history that awaits travellers.

Your family along with yourself must be proud of your achievements in the Archaelogical field which holds people spellbound by its mystical pathways and ability to ignite our imaginations by facts and stories built from our archaeological heritage.

    Warm regards,
    Ann and Julia
